QSI International School of Dongguan; May, 2018

June, 2018
Earlier this month we had the pleasure of hosting a special group of 8 international school students, and two of their faculty advisers, in our projects. The students are from the QSI International School of Dongguan, China. Due to our privacy policies, we do not list the names of participants in our projects that are under the age of 18. Their service project was at a local children's home. They spent their afternoons digging holes, clearing vegetation, moving building materials and providing all-around help in the construction of new bathrooms for the children that reside there. Evenings were spent interacting with the children at the home with interactive games. A great time was had by all. In addition to their service project, they also learned how to cook delicious Thai food in a special Thai cooking course, visited some of Chiang Mai's famous temples, along with taking in the art at a 3D art museum. Below here are some photos of their service work, fun cultural activities during their stay.

Make a Lasting Impact as a Volunteer or Intern in Thailand

These projects provide authentic access to Thai communities, beyond typical tourist experiences. The connections formed while volunteering create lasting impacts, both for volunteers and the local people whose lives they touch.
